Chelsea DeNofa and Adam LA wrap Formula Drift Round 2 in Atlanta

We are a quarter of the way through the 2022 Formula Drift season following Round 2 at Road Atlanta. In his Top 32 battle Chelsea DeNofa earned a bye run and didn’t let the opportunity to put on a show for the fans go to waste filling the track with tire smoke. In his Top 16 battle he would face Branden Sorensen going OMT after their first battle and unfortunately on the second Chelsea would over rotate on his lead run and find himself in need of a killer chase and some luck to mount a comeback. Chelsea did his part on the chase, but luck was not on his side falling in the Top 16. Adam LZ would battle Chris Forsberg in the Top 32 and despite his great lead run he did not advance past the three-time champion.

Vaughn Gittin Jr will join Chelsea and Adam this weekend at HyperFest for some drifting fun before Formula Drift competition resumes the following weekend in Orlando May 19-21.
