Early Saturday Morning started off with Rain as we awoke and prepared to setup for the August Mustang Motorsport Track Day, we arrived at the track at 7am to setup and the clouds started to part. At that point we knew we were in for a good day.

Drivers started to roll into the event from 7:30 to park their cars up in pit lane and sign in. not far behind was the Display cars from Melbourne Mustang 6G Club MM6G, Mustang Owners Club Australia MOCA and the Australian Shelby Registry ASR. The Volkscoffee van rolled in to make hot berages for everyone.

The Morning session consisted of a slalom test then a ABS braking test to warm up the drivers before they hit the track for full laps. This gave the track a chance to dry out.

During the morning sessions Drivers took advantage of the Driver Trainers. Taking onboard their knowledge to improve their car control and lines through the corners. Quite a lot of people improved dramatically and started to appreciate much more what their mustang can do on track.

During the lunch break we invited HD-Tv along with their crew and some Guests with Harley Davidsons. They went out on track for a lunch time cruise and got to wind out the big Harleys on the strait. Look out for upcoming episodes of HD-Tv here to catch the action.

After the Harley Davidsons went out on track the MOCA club also went on a cruise taking Kids from Challenge around the track for a parade lap.

The rest of the day was more hot laps for the Drivers. Some honing their skills and lap times squeezing more and more out of their Mustangs

We look forward to holding another event in the new year and go bigger and better!
